When Was the Last Time You Took a Bath?

For those of you who have a tub, I ask you this: When was the last time you took a bath? So many of us, myself included, never take the time to destress a little and actually lay down for a bath (not a shower). But when you think about it, an hour soak can really work wonders for your sanity, as well as your hygiene. It's likely that a minority of you only have a shower stall — so why not put those ole tubs to use?

I think I'll do that today. I'm excited for a LUSH bubble bar and perhaps a glass of wine!

I probably take a half hour of my time for a bath every weekday, it's really relaxing!

We only have a shower :( I've always said that when I buy my own place the first thing that will be installed is a huge tub.

I can't remember. I think taking baths is gross. You sit in a tub of your own filth. Yuck. I don't think people who take them are gross - and can see how people would think it's relaxing... I just can't stand doing it myself

I love baths! I didn't have a bathtub in my last apartment so I could rarely take a bath for nearly 5 years - then when I moved into my current apartment, complete with tub, the first thing I did was go to Lush and go crazy buying bath bombs. I kept saying "I have a bathtub!" They were like, "Uh, ok..." "No, you don't understand, I have a TUB!!!"

I love taking baths, especially bubble baths. They are so relaxing. It was one of the things I missed the most when I was in college and living in a dorm. =)

Nothing beats a bath it's so relaxing and it's my quiet time. I usually take a nice glass of wine and a book. I love to soak. I try to take one as often as possible. I love to take them when it's cold outside. I love to get all warmed up and then but on some big comfy warm PJ's. If I didn't have a tub I am not sure what I would do. I think I get it from my Grandmother she was always a bath lady :)

I haven't taken one probably since I was at school in Cambridge, come to think about it...since it was the only option. As far as really trying to get clean, shave, etc., a shower is just easier and more efficient for me. But there is nothing that can compare with a long relaxing bath for a little relaxation and head-clearing. Now I'm craving one with a good book, good music, and a glass of wine like those mentioned above.

I take about 3 or 4 times a week. It's so relaxing and it helps the sore parts on my body (knee and back)! I delight in bath salts, foams or bombs, especially the Lush bath bombs! I take whatever paperback I'm reading atm in with me so I don't mind if the pages get wet. I have a phone in there as well. I leave my door closed but not shut cat likes to follow me around and she gets a few pets from me while I'm in the bath (so spoiled hehe) and then she lays down on the towel on my floor. She often falls asleep and stays while I close the curtain to shower the bath stuff off and shampoo AND she often doesn't move while I get out and dry off....I have to step around her. She leaves when I leave mostly. =) I have an older townhouse and the bathrooms need to be redone. I hope to be started on that project before summer. Hopefully, I can install a lovely bath in the master bath as it currently only has a shower stall.

I take baths when I'm stressed or depressed, or when I have bad cramps (it helps a lot). The last one was maybe two weeks ago. It was wonderful.

karisaamy- Im 5'10 also and taking a comfy bath were you are fully covered in water is hard My last bath was right after Thanksgiving. I fell off of a horse and body was completely sore. I had just gotten a new bathtub in my apartment which is deeper than a normal bath (helpful when you are tall and cant fit in a tub). The soak in hot water really helped in my healing process

I hate taking showers but that's my only option living in a dorm. But when I go home every other weekend, I lovvveeeee baths! I made a poll about this some time ago, actually. I don't get why people like showering better, especially with the stupid shower in the bathroom. I hate having the cold water pound down on me but if I let the water run for a few minutes to get warm, when I open the door, the water floods out and it's like up to my ankles because the drainage sucks. It's really terrible, but even functioning showers annoy me. Warm baths are soooo relaxing and lovely!

I'm 5'10" most bathtubs are too short for me to be comfy in so I rarely take baths.

It's been over six months. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to take one again though. They're so fun!

I love taking baths but haven't taken one in awhile. I guess I just feel in order to take one I have to clean my tub first (even though it's already clean lol) something about sitting where my feet usually are grosses me out.

maybe 6 months ago - i'm not really a bath person - which is sad since my mom just renovated her house and put in a new bathroom attached to my new bedroom and there's a big jacuzzi. i should take a soak more often - but for me - i feel like i can't sit still that long - and then i get cold easily - even if the water is really hot...and i never know what to do in the bath. i can't read becuase i feel like i don't 'stay put' long enough to turn pages and not ruin a book.

Maybe I'd take a bath more often if my tub looked like that! (:
