Which Side of the Bed Do You Sleep on?

I sleep on the left side of my bed, but mostly because my nightstand is there. This routine has changed with each apartment or house I've lived in, and as a kid, I remember waking up laying horizontally and upside down sometimes!Source

i can't sleep by the door. so, i sleep on whatever side is furthest from the door. Maybe because I'm afraid that someone will come in and get me? dunno

i have a twin bed (i'm pretty small) so there isn't really a side. i do tend to sleep on my right, though and since my nightstand is on the left side i sleep that way.

I try to sleep on the wall side so in case we get attacked, he can defend me (haha) But now we have a dog so I squeeze myself in where ever I can fit!

I used to be on the right.. until the bf insisted that he had to sleep on the right hand side.. leaving the left for me... When he leaves early I always roll over to the right as it just fits better.

I sleep on the left, next to a wall, furthest from the door. Not because of possible intruders, but because I go to bed first and don't like to be disturbed.

I sleep on the left, with my back to the edge of the bed. So my head usually ends up near the right side. Unless my bf stays over....he's a difficult sleeper so I adjust to whatever gets him to sleep fastest :)

whichever side is further away from the wall...especially if I'm sharing the bed.

The right, because it's closest to the door and the bathroom, for convenience's sake. It feels weird when I don't and sleep on the left whenever I have to share a bed with anyone.

I usually sleep on the right but sometimes my husband and I switch it up and then have a hard time sleeping so we always switch back :)

In my bedroom I sleep on the left side, however I'm not partial to one side over the other and switch depending on the room I'm in.

I think it depends on which nostril is stuffed up the most, lol. Sad but true. Allergies wreak havoc on my nights. I guess really shouldn't have the dog in the bed, but I can't help it!

I sleep on the side closest to the bathroom. I get really thirsty around 9pm so I'm always up at 4:30 to go potty. If there's not a side closest, I'll sleep on the right.

I sleep on the right usually. No idea why - I guess becuz I'm out of bed first in the morning and that side is closer to the door.

I sleep on the right when the hubby's home. Otherwise, it's however I happen to be wherever I happen to be when I fall asleep -- the horizontal and upside down thing are very me. I used to occasionally put my pillow at the foot of the bed once in a while, as I need some variation from time to time or it gets too difficult to sleep, but I don't do that as much when he's around anymore. He doesn't like doing that himself so much and yet prefers doing so with me to not doing that, so I save it for when he's out of town and I'm bacheloretting it.

i sleep on the left but only because my husband HAS to sleep on the right. no matter where we are or where the bed is he has to be on the right. sometimes in hotels we have to move the furniture so the clock and things are on the right side because he HAS to be there. i personally prefer sleeping diagonal and low, my head is about where his belly is. im sure it looks pretty funny. he gets mad when i pull all the covers down.

I have a twin sized bed, so it's either the middle or the floor! But sometimes I switch it up and put my head at the foot.

I've never really thought about it, but I've been a left-er my entire life no matter where I am (home, college, etc). It's always hilarious, though, when I spend the night with my partner. I'm not safe on either side because they're a starfish like sfbutterfly24 and there's always an arm or a leg jabbing me. Sigh.
