Would You Live in This House?

Wow. If you thought the Earthship was a little too tame for your residential tastes, then how about living in a giant seashell? This Mexico City home, designed by Senosiain Arquitectos, has indoor plantings for the floors, smooth walls, and light- and color-rich walls.

It would be fun for a vacation but not to live in everyday.

I would live in this house, but the color scheme and furniture would HAVE to go. I'd also probably paint the exterior a different color, and would most definitely add more storage inside. The idea of it is fun, though!

crazy! I personally wouldn't want to live there, but it's cool to see a departure from the traditional cookie-cutter home.

I've seen this one before and love the living room and kitchen. The bedroom is a little barren for my tastes - but that's any easy fix, no?

It's amazing!! I love unique architecture. I'm getting so sick of the same old cookie-cutter homes. My boyfriend & I drive by them and go "kachung"--that's the sound of a cookie cutter stamping them out. :) This is definitely not cookie cutter! I LOVE it. My only qualms would be where are the electrical outlets? If, electrically, this home is modern, I would live in it. If not, then I'd be resigned to just spend most of my time in it, then wonder back to my other house to watch TV and play online!

Yeah, at first it would probably be neat, but I'm sure I would get sick of it pretty quickly. My kids would think it was great though!
