Would You Live in This House?

The Lifepod Yurt is a modern take on the classic nomadic structure. While you can place it in nearly any landscape, I love the idea of suspending it from ancient redwoods. It's so Ewok-Village-meets-Case-Study-House, yes? Source

I do not do well with heights! So my answer is no. It looks very retro-modern (if that makes sense).

Yeah karen zoo, I don't see a ladder either. I don't like the idea of having to climb into my house lol

That forest is so creepy. And now its even creepier/uglier with that suspended house there. How the hell do you get out of it by the way? I don't see a ladder .....

I would so NOT live there? What happens when you have to go to the bathroom?

How is it attached to the trees? I love love LOVE the redwoods, camped there my whole life, I wouldn't want them to be drilled into and hurt just to hang some dumb house. And I'm curious about in a storm, what if there's lightening? Are those pokey outy suspender things going to be like lightening rods? ANd how many trees? If one goes down due to fire or earthquake or some other madness does the whole thing come down?

Just too freaky. I would be afraid it would be shot down by the government thinking its some sort of alien spacecraft.

The concept of suspending it from ancient redwoods is actually the part I really don't like about this.

and how do you get in the house anyway? I can't live there if I don't know how to open the door

and what if there is a storm? if one of the trees holding up one of those cables goes, there goes your house. I know redwoods are strong and all, but I would be worried about that.

hmm. i think the sattelite dish detracts from the sleekness of it. and it kind of makes it look like an RV suspended in midair. but for a vacation, it might be fun!
