Would You Try an Eco-Friendly Push Mower?

I have a hard time believing that anyone could get this excited about mowing the lawn, even if it was with an eco-friendly Brill Razorcut Rell Mower ($249.99). The new eco-friendly reel mowers have improved dramatically, and are efficient, green ways to cut your backyard green.

I got a reel mower ten years ago, and it sure as heck didn't cost $250!

That price is way too much. My husband and I bought ours for 99dollars at Sears last year. If you have weeds, it will not cut them though, soo...I'm ready to get rid of ours

Currently, I do not own a push mower however I would love one. And, I'm the type that would get/be excited to mow the lawn with one. I remember using a push mower at my grandmother's house years ago and it was a peaceful yet calorie burning activity. Plus, I dislike how polluting gas powered mowers are.

I like using the push mower so much that I won't allow my husband to mow the lawn

I'd love to!

The thing is, not actually an amazing workout. It's super easy to push around, honestly. Pretty much just like a shopping cart.

I don't have a lawn, but if I did I'd consider something that doesn't use gas. However, I wouldn't buy this one on principle. That picture is ridiculous.

I'd give it shot!

We just bought our first mower – not a push mower, sadly. I would have loved to try one but I didn’t even bring it up b/c I knew I could never convince the H. And he will probably be doing most of the mowing (I will do my share but since he appears to think mowing is HIS job I’m not going to dissuade him) I guess I should let him choose.

$250 for a push mower? I think ours was maybe $100 from Ace Hardware last year, and it is amazing. Really, it's no harder to push than a shopping cart, and it's so nice and quiet. It's awesome in the summer if you want to mow early in the morning or at night to avoid the heat, you don't have to worry about disturbing the neighbors.

I have a regular push mower, but maybe it's not as 'eco-friendly' as the $250 one.

I have difficulty comprehending how expensive something is that you power yourself...Maybe if it was a little more complicated in design, I guess. that's set up like a bicycle. Wow...I shouldn't be awake right now.

i loooove my push mower. it's so peaceful cutting the grass without the noisy motor, and it's great exercise for my arms and shoulders.

These are also popular where we are. We bought one in amazing condition from a moving sale.

My husband and I have been talking about this for a while now. Unfortunately, any extra money always goes to a different project. Maybe this year, though!
oh yes, they are very popular where i live!
