Would You Use Alphabet Blocks as Drawer Pulls?

I spotted this photo on AT:SF, and I think it's such a clever, cute idea. AT:SF recommends using alphabet blocks as drawer pulls in a child's room, though I think it would be fun to spell out a cheeky word or phrase on an adult's dresser, too.

It just doesn't work for me. As a child, I played with alphabet blocks like crazy. I would worry that a child unscrewing the blocks and hurt themselves because they wanted to play with them!

rosadilla - I think it would depend on what the letters spelled.....maybe a nice way to give a new date some subliminal messages....

IMO, it would look weird on an adult dresser. Imagine bringing a date home and he sees your dresser with alphabet blocks pulls? I think it would freak him a bit.

I think I might cut them at a slight angle though so you can grip it better. Especially if you're doing this to an older dresser where the drawers stick.
