Shaffer recommends considering a few key items before buying a cloud couch. "Simply search 'white sofa' or 'round sofa,' and you'll find numerous options around $1,000. After all, "humans by and large are messy," so you may as well prevent bringing in professional cleaners if you can avoid it.
And finally, before you add it to your cart, it's important to triple check measurements because "cloud sofas are bulkier than you'd expect," warns the expert. "I love to tape off the area (footprint) of a piece of furniture based on the measurements provided by the store and try to live with that cleared-out space for a week or two to understand the impact a new piece of furniture would have."
