The best sofas [1] come to those who do their research, and luckily with Crate & Barrel [2], a small amount of investigation is needed to get a quality furniture piece. The outlet has created a substantial name for itself as a trusted, high-quality brand. But even with its great reputation in mind, Crate & Barrel can have a few duds, and you don't want your purchase to be one of them. With dozens of sofas to shop on its website, we picked our top six that exemplify what style, quality, and comfort are all about. We're talking everything from recliner sofas [3] to sectionals [4] to modular couches and more, all of which are great for both small and large spaces.
Before you pick the first one that suits your taste, we urge you to think about what you want in a sofa and the logistics that come along with it. Do you have a small entryway where a sofa can barely fit up the stairs? Will it fit the size of your room? What about its upholstery options — do you actually like real leather, or are its imperfections a turnoff for you? Lastly, make sure the sofa you pick reflects the style of your home, whether you want something industrial or a more traditional and modern furniture piece.
Our top choice is the Crate & Barrel Oceanside Wide-Arm Deep-Seat Sofa [5] for its minimalist appearance, price, and deep seats — but that's just one of six options. Shop the rest of our favorite couches from Crate & Barrel ahead.

The Best Recliner Sofa From Crate & Barrel
Crate & Barrel Leisure Power Recliner Sofa [11] ($3,200)
We're a sucker for anything fuzzy, especially bouclé. The cool material is one of the year's biggest furniture trends, so you can get in on it with the Leisure Power Recliner Sofa. The slim arms and cool texture give it an edge that would make no one ever guess this is a reclining sofa. The power controls lift up the legs and tilt the back, so you can get the perfect lounging position. Delivered with white-glove service, it'll be ready for you to relax on.
