Casper's Popular Nightlight Helps Me Sleep Better and Is Truly Magical

Until recently, my nightlight was a basic old lamp. Then I upgraded to the Casper Glow Light ($129-$229), and it's been truly magical. The smart light is designed to help you sleep better and get you in the mood for bedtime. It does exactly that.

The light works in a few simple ways. You can press the top, or turn it over, to turn on the light. My favorite thing about it, though, is the app that comes along with it. I connected my light to my app via bluetooth, and can control all the settings from my phone. I have my light set to turn on every night at the same time, and then dim as I get ready for bed. This was an unexpected blessing for me, as I usually stay up far too long on my phone at night.

I have my light set to dim over 30 minutes, so as my room gets darker I start to mentally prepare to go to bed. Now that I'm used to this, I find myself feeling drowsy as the light hits low. I feel like it helped retrain the way I sleep, and also reminds me to put down my phone and close my eyes. The timing feature is much more useful than I realized. It also works the same in the morning, and helps me wake up smoother with light before my alarm goes off.

In addition to the help timers, I love that it's also detachable from its dock, so I can easily move it or walk around with it. Plus, light yellow glow is so relaxing, and doesn't give off that harsh white-light that feels shocking at times. Not to mention, it looks sleek and minimal on my nightstand. All in all, it's a true winner for me, and I'm not sure I can live without it now.
