If you're already a Riverdale [1] addict, then prepare to become even more obsessed; Brazilian-American star Camila Mendes just revealed that Spanish-speaking fans might be gaining even more from the show than other viewers. When POPSUGAR and a group of reporters caught up with Mendes in the show's WonderCon [2] press room, the actress promised that there are more references to her character's Latina background coming soon.

"I do speak more Spanish, and it's a nod to the comics as well, what I say," Mendes told press outlets. That means that, for those bilingual Riverdale [3] fans, there's a whole other side to the story to gain. As if we needed another reason to love the series! Camila, who also speaks Portuguese [4], is already our favorite lady on the show . . . and now we've got even more reason to root for her character, Veronica.
