Just a couple of months ahead of the Disney Channel release of Elena of Avalor, featuring the first Disney Latina princess, we're getting a look at the special gown she'll be wearing.
The princess, who saves her kingdom from an evil sorceress in the cartoon series, will wear a beautiful scarlet off-the-shoulder flowy gown with floral details around the neck and bodice of the dress, ruffles, and a pink bow around the waist. The creation comes from Project Runway All Stars' Layana Aguilar, who has designed pieces for Beyoncé, Heidi Klum [1], and Dascha Polanco in the past.
More exciting news: this is the dress Elena will wear when she appears at Walt Disney World starting this August and at Disneyland in the Fall. Look ahead for a closer look at the gown, then check out images of the Elena doll [2] Disney is releasing with Hasbro.
