After Alex told his version of the story and said Jennifer came up to him, Ellen seemed skeptical, claiming Jennifer told her something different. "One of you is lying," she joked. In April 2017, Jennifer stopped by Ellen's show, and spoke about her budding relationship with Alex, who'd she'd been dating for a few months at that point.
