"I love any reason to wear sparkle, but New Year's Eve is the perfect time to shine! And because you want start the New Year with something new for good luck [2], it's a great excuse to add a new piece to your wardrobe," said the designer, who is working on Pitch Perfect 3. For Petite Girls
"A shorter hemline will make your legs look longer," said Salvador. Have fun with a sparkly dress (like this Dress the Population Tabitha Sequin Mini Dress [6] for $195). "It's all about keeping the proportions in mind. If you need to add a layer, make it a cropped jacket or shrug to elongate your body. Keep the jewelry minimal to not overwhelm the look. "Embrace your height and dress like you are walking the runway, wear high heels, be a glamazon; it's New Year's Eve," said Salvador. "You want to keep the sparkle understated.
