Dominican-Puerto-Rican singer and Bronx native Romeo Santos just hit a major milestone on YouTube — and we seriously mean major! The bachata singer's "Propuesta Indecente" music video [1] has been seen more than 1 billion times on the video platform, and, yes, that's billion with a B. The sexy minifilm, featuring Eiza González [2], is now officially the second Spanish song to join the YouTube billionaires club, so far only counting Enrique Iglesias's "Bailando" [3] as a Latin member.
Though that number is incredibly impressive — consider there are 7.1 billion people on the planet — we are not surprised to see Romeo hit the milestone. From his days as part of Aventura [4], he's been a staple in Latin music, and with his new position as CEO of Roc Nation Latino [5], he's only en route to become a bigger star. Watch the video above!
