With the 2016 Olympics [1] now over, we're reminiscing about all the action that took place during the past couple of weeks. The passionate 16-year-old, who is Puerto Rican American, recently announced in an Instagram post that she's gone pro and "given up my NCAA eligibility," [5] which means that she won't be competing at the college level in the future. Having taken a gold medal in the team finals [6] and a silver on balance beam [7], we're crossing our fingers this means she'll be representing our nation at the 2020 Games, too!
