Your New Favorite Bronzers, Blushes, and Highlighters

If You Weren't Already Obsessed With These Cult-Classic Bronzers and Blushes, You Will Be Now

The following post was originally featured on The Girl From Panama and written by Pamela Hetlinger, who is part of POPSUGAR Select Latina.

There's no doubt I love playing with makeup and spending hours at Sephora or Nordstrom, searching for the latest products out there. Lately, I've been into contouring and highlighting, so I decided to put a list together of my favorite bronzers, highlighters, and blushes. Keep reading below to find out why I love these products so much.

Top Three Bronzers

Laguna by Nars: This is definitely one of my makeup staples. I love that the color is subtle enough that you can actually build it up as much as you want. This bronzer works for me during the Winter when I'm pale as a ghost and during the Summer when I have a little bit of color. It has a little bit of shimmer, which I love because it's almost like a highlighter and bronzer in one.

Warmth by bareMinerals: This bronzer is the first one I ever used. It's one of my oldies but goodies that I always grab whenever I want to add a little bit of extra color. Out of all of my bronzers, this is definitely the one that lasts the longest (all day pretty much). Also, a little goes a long way. The formula is super pigmented, but with a natural-looking finish.

Tropical Days by Kevyn Aucoin: As the name suggests, this bronzer truly makes your face look like you just got back from a tropical getaway. Out of all of them, this is the one I reach for when I want to play a little bit more with contouring (it's designed to deepen and sculpt the face). I discovered this bronzer during New York Fashion Week at Bergdorf Goodman when I sat down with one of their makeup artists, and since then, I've added it to my favorites list. This is a must try!

Favorite Blushes

Orgasm by Nars: I've been using this blush for as long as I can remember. One of my holy grails! It gives you a perfect shimmery peach-pink afterglow (try saying that five times fast). Not only does this product have five stars across the board, but it has also won several awards for the best blush out there. If you have never tried this, please give it a chance the next time you go buy makeup. You won't regret this purchase!

Breathless by Buxom: Peachy blushes look best on my skin, so that's why both of my favorite blushes have a peachy pink tone. This blush by Buxom is a bit more pigmented than the one by Nars. It also has creamier texture, so I reach for this blush when my face is really dry (usually during the Winter months).

Top Three Highlighters

Light Illusion Concealer by Eve Lom: This is not a highlighter per se, but I love using it as one. Besides using it to brighten my dark circles, I like to use it in between my brows, on my chin, and along my nose bridge. I sometimes use it as an eye shadow, too, when I want to brighten my eyes.

Camélia de Plumes by Chanel: I'm obsessed with this! I like to apply this on the high point of the cheekbones. This is by far the highlighter I use the most. I just love the texture and tone — it's the perfect combo of silver and gold.

The Celestial Skin Liquid Lighting by Kevyn Aucoin: Another recent find. This thing is amazing! It's definitely a "multitasker." It can be used to highlight the skin, as a primer, or it can be mixed directly with your foundation. I've tried using it in all of the forms, and I absolutely love it!
