15 Things That Even Serious Camilizers Don't Know About Camila Cabello

OK, Camilizers, we're putting you to the test. You probably already know that former Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello has a penchant for bows, loves bananas, and was born in Cuba before moving to Mexico and then later Miami. She didn't speak English when she first moved to the US.

Camila learned English when she first moved to Florida by watching TV and cartoons. She once shared on Instagram: "On my first day of school, they asked me if I knew how to speak English. I don't know if I misunderstood or was too embarrassed, but I said 'Yea, I speak English.' So I never actually took an ELL class, but I picked up English really easily."

She loves Harry Potter.

In fact, she even once dressed up as the wizard for Halloween a few years ago.

She once went skinny dipping in Puerto Rico.

She shared the scandalous tale during a round of Truth or Dare with ANDPOP.

Her first name is actually Karla.

She prefers to go by her middle name, Camila, but her full name is Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao.

Her BFF Taylor Swift threw her 18th birthday party.

The celebration was packed full of food from one of Camila's favorite restaurants, Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. “We were texting and she asked me what I was going to do for my birthday, and at the time I wasn't doing anything, I was just like eating with my family," she told MTV News. "And she was like, 'Oh, well, you can't do nothing for your birthday. Come over.'"

Her great-grandfather Proculo fought with Emiliano Zapata during the Mexican Revolution in the early 1900s.

Camila has been working on getting better at playing the guitar. She admitted to Billboard's Pop Shop podcast that learning to play has given her calluses — but she's secretly proud of them!

Her favorite book is The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. Bonus fun fact: she doesn't like to read love stories.

She didn't have a traditional quinceañera.

Instead of having a quinceañera, Cabello's mom, Sinuhe, says that Camila asked to audition for X Factor. We sure are glad that she did, because that gave us Fifth Harmony.
