Awaiting Results: Obama and Huckabee Swing Wins in Louisiana

Concluding a sweep of Democratic contests today, CNN is projecting that Barack Obama has won in Louisiana. Particularly in Ward 9, which was heavily affected by Hurricane Katrina, Obama collected staggering victories. The Republican contest in Louisiana was very close, though CNN is projecting a Huckabee victory, his second of the day. Washington is still too close to call.

Go Obama! I have heard his win in Louisiana broken down by race so many times! It is funny how they don't do that for the overwhelmingly white states that he is winning by 2 to 1 like: Washington, Utah, Idaho, Nebraska, Minnesota, Kansas etc. The fact is he has dominated strongly in "white states", but many pundits are trying to make it seem like he only gets the black vote. Grrr.

If I wasn't interested in other people's opinion I would just talk to myself. How boring would that be!

Off course!! I value your opinion, PrincessKitty!

I just personally think that they would make a great team. I kinda knew as soon as I posted that no one would agree with me, but I stand by it, darnit! :-P I'd like a Obama/Clinton ticket, too. I like them both. I honestly do. *shrugs* But I know I'm in the minority on this site on that one. But that's what comments are for, to express our opinions, right? :)

No way should Obama hitch his horse to Clinton's wagon. Can you imagine being VP with Bill, and like Gore, linked inextricably to all those scandals? That would be a political death for Obama. If they could even get elected!

The people who are voting for Obama aren't necessarily voting for him to be someone else's Vice President.
