Best Dating Site

What's Your Favorite Dating Site?

Sure, you can find your "salad soulmate" at Saladmatch.com, but you'll probably want to cast a wider net if you're looking for someone to eat breakfast with.

Our mystery online dater, matchgirl, chose Match.com to jump-start the dating process she's writing about in Diary of an Online Dater, but it's by no means the only site to provide a comprehensive look at what's out there. In fact, if you're really serious about getting online-dating results, you should consider multiple sites.

Help a Sugar out, and tell us what site has given you the best, or at least good, results.

I'm using OkCupid right now. I think Yahoo! Personals is now Match.com. I can't afford the monthly fee's right now for eHarmony and Match.

The only site I tried was Plentyoffish.com... first day on it, I met my current boyfriend. Been together for 11 months. Best site :). Although, I will admit (being realistic here) if we break up, I would not go on another dating site. The men are so annoying. I scoped out my current boyfriend, but the hundreds (not even exaggerating) of emails I got from other men that first day were horrific.

I know 3 or 4 couples who met on plentyoffish.com but I've never been interested enough to sign up so I can't vouch for the actual experience.

I have never been on a dating website, although I did meet my husband originally on AOL.
