Filmmakers Alex from France and Kareem from Egypt met at a film competition in Madrid, Spain . . . and though they were rivals, the two fell in love at first sight.

"Since they had family all over the world, they decided to tie the knot at a courthouse in NYC with close friends in company," said a photographer of Bohemia Photography [1]. "While no professional photos were taken at the courthouse, they wanted to save that for their honeymoon in Tulum, Mexico [2]. Alex brought her antique wedding dress, and Kareem looked handsome in beachwear with a colorful scarf. They wanted natural photos to reflect their love for each other and the nature and colors they were surrounded by in Tulum."
