I like the name of the group who put this ad together. "Help us fund this ad" this ad I guess since Clinton is down 9 million, they need al the help they can get.

I like that anti Sidney McLame ad. It's really good.

"The Supreme Court ruled on the legality of Florida's recount did not consider all the questions and mechanations that led to the recount so issues about vote counts, missing ballots, hanging chads etc., were not resolved." Good point!

fyi Auntie: it's John SIDNEY McCain. I'm sure you'll want to use it in the future.

Lighten up guys and gals. It's the weekend. Go enjoy it while you can. Scalia . . . he's trying to be funny. Being in his age group, I understand. Food and Global Warming: What's the problem, I thought there were too many people on earth, anyway, so this seems to be a simple solution to two problems. /sarcasm Adoption: Go through Catholic Social Services, they're the best ones out there. Anti-McCain advertisement . . . this was said a few years ago, not yesterday when the price of a dozen eggs went to $2.99 at my grocery. Undated is Outdated. It's a cheap shot. McCain has been extremely respectful of the Democrat contenders and they will reap what they sow. Republicans know dates, names, places, and how much money exchanged hands. And probably have it on video tape. (Or HG-DVD) Both Barack Hussein Obama, Jr and Hillary Rodham Clinton have a lot of loose skeletons in their respective closets. I'm waiting for the DNC to admit who they're supporting and how much it cost that candidate to buy their votes. (Ohh, I wasn't supposed to let that cat out of the bag, I guess./sarc)

The Supreme Court ruled on the legality of Florida's recount process. it did not consider all the questions and mechanations that led to the recount so issues about vote counts, missing ballots, hanging chads etc., were not resolved.

No I was referring to two things in one post, sorry... The above is in reference to Scalia, the quick question was about the DNC ad against McCain where he talks about "low inflation, low unemployment, more jobs, and prosperous times."

It wasn't McCain that said it. One of the Supreme Court Justices said it (Scalia)

I think Bush v. Gore will be looked back on in political science classes and law school 100 years from today with students wondering "how the hell did people just let this slide." Yet in our time, there really wasn't anything done about it. And I wasn't even a Gore supporter...but the way people overlooked it was amazing to me, shows you so many of our laws and procedures can be bypassed when you have the money and know the right people. Quick Q - when did McCain make these statements, if it was recent, he must have multiple personality disorder, and one of his personalities must be delusional!

What makes it partisan is that Republicans won, and the democrats have never gotten over it... :)

Looking at it not as a partisan, what makes it a "stolen" election? If you read Florida's constitution, the justices actually agreed with what it says.

Considering the seriousness of the issue and his position, 'get over it' and 'that's so ten minutes ago' are dismissive and insulting to the American people as a whole, not just 'the haters'. Supreme Court justices shouldn't kid about the question of a stolen election in a democracy.

I'm pretty sure he was kidding, Stephley. Scalia graduated magna cum laude from Harvard law and was an editor of the Harvard law review. If you have ever read anything else about him, listened to him speak, etc. you would know that that's just part of his personality.

"That was like so ten minutes ago," he tells 60 Minutes' Leslie Stahl in an interview to be aired this weekend. Scalia's scholarly brillance and patriotic dedication make him unusually qualified to dictate to the American people.
