Down-to-earth couple Kaitlyn and Ryan married on a gorgeous June day in Denver. The pair met by chance while on a cruise vacation with family and friends in 2007. After years of a long-distance relationship, Kaitlyn said yes to Ryan on Cocoa Beach, FL, after a plane flew by with a banner reading, "I love you Kaitlyn, will you marry me?"
To keep with the theme of home and comfort, the bride added beautiful DIY touches to their wedding (she arranged the flowers) with personalized shot glasses and whiskey favors, yard games, and antique decor from Kaitlyn's grandmother. A close friend officiated the ceremony, while the family dog Zoe was the flower girl. And while some brides choose heels for their wedding occasion, Kaitlyn and her bridal party kicked back in some old-fashioned cowboy boots. Guests also sipped on prickly pear margaritas, another simple nod to the bride's hometown. The atmosphere was full of fun, love, and closeness at this easygoing wedding.
