The Daily Show Explains Twitter, Sort Of

Can anyone explain Twitter to non-Twitterers? Not really. But Samantha Bee, The Daily Show's "tech correspondent," did her best last night. She summed up why the media and Congress have gone gaga over it ("we're rotting corpses, Jon, grabbing for a glimmer of relevance"). And how it fulfills the need for quick bits of information (almost, anyway: She's also on Grunter for people who are too busy to read Tweets, or if that's too precious, "Twits"). Check out the clip, which also compiles some of the best and worst tweets from Congress!

Twitter seems so ridiculously stupid to me; I'm glad that Jon is with me.

I'm already bored with Twitter - I think CNN ran it into the ground for me.
