Dear Poll: Do You Take Responsibility For Your Friends?

The company we keep says a lot about us, but when our friends make bad decisions that reflect badly on us, should we have to suffer their consequences? It doesn't seem fair to be put in the same category as our less responsible counterparts, but it's inevitable that we sometimes are. So ladies, since we all have an imperfect friend or two, what I want to know is: Do you ever make excuses or take responsibility for a friend in need?

Sometimes, okay most of the time. I need to let them take responsibility for their own mistakes but usually they just ignore them altogether.

I am only responsible for one person and one person only, me. My friends are adults, they need to act like it and take responsibility for their own actions/comments. I don't expect them to cover for me, so in turn, they can't expect me to do it for them. Sounds bitchy, but that's just how I am.
