Dear Poll: Are Most of Your Friends Single or in a Relationship?

Life seems to have a peculiar ebb and flow when it comes to love. Sometimes it's as if everyone I know is either in a serious relationship or on their way to one, while at other times everyone seems to be on the brink of breaking up and doing the single thing. What does it look like in your social scene right now?

A few months ago I was just about the only single one, now it (tentatively) seems to have gone in reverse!

ALL of my female friends are in relationships. I'm the only single one. I don't mind being single; I can certainly take care of myself, but being the only one in my group is getting pretty boring.

Ha, it's funny, it's like we keep up with each other. Everyone was single for a while and now we're all just getting into relationships. :-P

most of my husband's (male) friends are single, never been married. many of my female friends are now divorced and therefore single again. the rest of my female friends are married. we're all around 30 years old.

Many of my friends are married (& prego), one is engaged, one is living w her bf, and I have a couple single friends. My bf just dumped me last wkend for his ex-wife. After 4 yrs. Bummer. I don't enjoy single life anymore ... I am a little envious of those who fall into love & marriage so easily when I seem to have such a difficult time. :(

I've been single for around 4 years basically, and the vast majority of my friends are in relationships :-(

THey're mostly taken... or not quite yet, but almost? You know when you have those couples who aren't going out but EVERYONE knows they'll get together? I never realized how uncomfortable it would be being the single among the pairs.

I would say it's pretty even, but it seems like more and more of them are getting into relationships. Out of my 13 "good friends": 5 are single, 2 of them are "dating," and 6 are in relationships (but only two of them have been with their bf for more than a year). It makes me sad :( Especially when some of them are the type of girls who spend all of their time with their bf and don't make time to hang out with their single friends. It sucks.

My first thought was that most aren't, like me, but if I think about it properly they actually all are. How depressing. One is married and the other 3 (of my best friends) are all in relationships. I have some other friends here and there who are single, but not enough to make me feel good about myself haha.

most of my friends are in relationships. and they're significant others are super nice and all, but it kinda sucks being the only single one. plus, it's super hard to make plans with them, when you know they may fall through if the sig. other comes calling. :(

All my friends are in relationships. We are the only ones who will be married (not until December, though), weirdly enough. I'm not even really young anymore.

they're in relationships they don't want to be in. always bitching about wanting to be single but are "Scared of being alone"...:eyeroll:

It's kind of even. Right now I'm in a long distance relationship so I love getting to hang out with my single friends. But really, even my friends who are not single aren't inseparable from their boyfriends, so they hang out too.
