an ideal date would include some ice cream, people watching, good food, a little bit to drink, some music, some kissing and a funky art gallery. Maybe not in that order.

I have had the same ideal date scenario in my head since high school. A great hike, he pulls out an apple and pb & j to picnic, and hike back.

I love being outdoors, doing something active. It's always a good first date bet because you can tell a lot about someone who's not just trying to be on their best behavior at a restaurant. And it's fun. I especially love camping. Of course, that's for later in the relationship, but being in the wilderness, sitting by the fire, making food, etcetc is awesome.

Luckily, I've gotten my ideal date - several times over =] My boyfriend and I are both anthropology majors, so we've gone into Manhattan a few times and just gotten totally lost in the Natural History Museum, which is basically our favorite place on earth. Any museum, really, is a good time for us.

With someone well-dressed and with someone I had chemistry with. As far as activities... A cafe and a nice walk afterwards. Maybe a picnic at the beach. :)

i'd say dancing a bit in a nightclub or sth, then lying on a hammock watching the stars and talkin. i dnt like restaurant dates, more of action means fun

I have a few ideas for an ideal date, it depends on the mood. For our upcoming anniversary, we are going to an amusement park to ride on awesome coasters, and have a ton of fun all day. But, we are just very non-traditional people, and aren't really into fancy or romantic dates on just any night or even any occasion. I'd say that if something great were about to happen, like a proposal, I'd want the date to be a little fun and a little romantic -- like going skiing, and then being proposed to on a ski lift or something. I guess it depends on what's going on, and what the general "feel" is of the day.

My ideal date would be a visit to the museum of fine arts, a sushi dinner and maybe going to a cute cafe for coffee and dessert. Of course, it'll be ideal with a cute guy who I had lots in common with. But the ideal date should be with an ideal guy otherwise, it's still a horror date. lol. //

Date or rendezvous? Date I'd say dinner at a water front restaurant during the summer. Then a nice ice cream cone after-simple and nice. The latter, a trip somewhere tropical!!

Since my husband and I never got a honeymoon, that would be my ideal date right now. A few months after we met, we wanted to save our money eloped and then have a week in Italy. Plans changed when we found out we were having a baby! So we would still love to go to Italy as our honeymoon and anniversary, when finances allow us to do so.
