Do You Still Care About Dirt on Sarah Palin?

While Sarah Palin excused herself from negativity and we've already looked at some of the campaign trail rumors, according to Chief Political Correspondent Carl Cameron there's an "avalanche" of Palin information coming our way. In an interview with Fox News, he admitted that Palin was difficult behind the scenes, refused to be briefed before interviews, threw temper tantrums, and showed a worrying lack of international knowledge. For example, she didn't know Africa is a continent or which countries are in NAFTA. It's worrying, but less of an issue now that she's no longer a possible VP. Then again, her name is already being tossed around in 2012 talk. So what do you think — do you still care about dirt on Sarah Palin, or are you done spending time on it?

I called her a man because she has no emotion and attempts to fake cry to get votes.... and IMO any woman that will continually accept a man into her life that cheats on her and makes her a public humiliation, makes her less of a woman... Women should take stands against men who treat them like property.... thats my opinion. I am entitled to that. i didn't even vote for Palin, i just think people give her a hard time because they are afraid of religious people...

bigestive- I brought up abortion- but not saying all pro-lifers are anti-women! Just the ones who don't think a 15 year old getting raped by her dad should be able to get one are kinda not going to appeal to feminists.

Ginger, reading comments like Hainan's also makes me :rotfl: Doesn't really need commenting on because invoking the age old "Hillary is a man in women's clothing" insult just proves my point about Palin putting us back 100 years ... :rotfl: You gotta laugh at that. Plus, I never mentioned abortion - did I? I didn't even have to go that far. I stand by what I said - Sarah Palin is the antithesis of feminism.

I'm pretty pleased that at least she's not talked alot on the news today :sigh: All I had to do was just be patient. 2-3 days and it'd die down sooner (hopefully) than later. Of course, Foxnews still talks about it because they're getting interview from her, supposedly. But at least, when I flip channel from one to the other, she's not plastered all over the 'news.' :D

Ginger: "She is a real woman, not a man in woman's clothing like Hillary." Seriously, this is the saddest, most sexist and inflammatory thing I've seen posted on citizen in a long time. Hainam is criticizing me for defending feminists who did not believe Sarah Palin is a good choice for vice president. In the same paragraph she does that, she calls a truly accomplished woman, Hillary Clinton, a "man" in woman's clothing. I think there is an EPIC fail at understanding feminism here. Feminists don't call powerful female political leaders "men" because they are ambitious, intelligent and not former beauty queens. And Hainam- the argument has been had many times as to whether a true feminist can be pro-life, and I don't really want to have it here. But what I said was believing that a woman should not have an abortion even in the case of RAPE was anti-woman. Many people who identify themselves as pro-life do make exceptions for the cases of rape, so Sarah Palin's view is very extreme, and IMO, bad for women. Along with the other things I mentioned, like not supporting the Lily Ledbetter act, and also not funding rape kits in Wasilla. Harmony- faaaantastic clip of Campbell Brown. Seriously, these people are MONSTERS. They lie through their teeth to us about how great Palin is, then they publicly humiliate her and blame her for losing the election when they chose her! And yes, I am sick of talking about Palin, but I think it's a very real possibility she might run for Stevens' place in the Senate. I don't want to know that she showed up somewhere in a towel, or that she didn't know Africa was a continent, but knowing that she refused to prep for interviews, etc. I guess is fine. Except for the whole McCain's advisors who are leaking this are the epitome of evil thing...

And I don't see how a women who doesn't believe in ONE thing (abortion) would set other women in America back 100 years???? She is a real woman, not a man in woman's clothing like Hillary. She just does not believe that a human life is worth taking.... Whatever your stance on abortion is, I just don't see how because a woman doesn't agree with you on one issue makes her a regression. That is an ignorant thinking process..... (Insert my loud laugh here) How can one call Hilary a man in woman's clothing in the same paragraph call others ignorant? And btw, it was on more than one issue that women found Palin repulsive. Some of you are source of great contradiction and amusement. Some days it's the laughs like this that keep me coming back.

I'm sooooooo not a Palin fanatic. I voted the other way. That said.... It is just more media sexism. She's become the Republican scapegoat. I don't believe a lot of this stuff. MCCAIN CHOSE HER to get some of Hillary Clinton's "fans". This was his mistake. They should just leave her the hell alone!

Hillary Clinton IS a real woman and a REAL mother and has been fighting for women's rights for decades. What a disgusting thing to say.

I think Citizen Sugar may be transitioning to a gossip site. Hence the person that posted this article.

Citizen Sugar, you are making this gossip sound as if it is fact!! This is just people trying to cash in on the outcome of the election. true conservatives definitely do not blame Sarah Palin for the loss, they blame McCain.... Why don't you cite your sources.... who said those you couldn't even give a name. You know a lot of people got fired from news reporting agencies for reporting unfounded claims!

I disagree. She had her chance and she screwed it up, we all know she isn't presidential material if she does think she could run in 2012 (ha,ha!). She's one of those fame hungry will do anything to get attention person in politics, it's scary how close she was to possibly being a president or considered to be VP. Let her go back to Alaska and hunt in the wilderness. Bye bye Palin

I get sadistic joy out of reading about her making an idiot of herself.

This is so bizarre to me. Why is it the Republicans that are keeping this going? The accusations are coming from the Republican camp and from FOXNEWS! For a party that is struggling with a bit of an identity crisis airing all of Palin's dirty laundry does not seem to be helping. She makes them look bad.

Does anyone remember Eliot Spitzer, busted for sleeping with prostitutes? James McGreevy, who resigned after revealing that he was gay? Those were HUGE national stories... and they were both just governors. Sarah Palin may be out of the race for VP, but she's still governor, so she's still subject to as much criticism as the next politican. Not to mention that as sleazy as those to men were, I think someone's personal or political beliefs are much more important than their sex life. I'd be more likely to vote for a man who sleeps with prostitutes than a woman (or man) who thinks that Africa is a country... so in my opinion, it's completely appropriate to keep Palin in the spotlight.

Who cares about Palin now? The election is OVER and she is long GONE, let her go already. The majority of Americans knew she was or IS ignorant and McCain is far past elderly...he's looking near death on most days. I only want to see Palin if it is NOT Palin. Meaning I'll still look at the hilarious SNL skits about her. Now those were too funny to look at on Saturday Night Live.

hey, you know never know, but she'll run for president in 4 years. But for now, i still care about the dirt because it brightens up my day. I need good laughs.

Okay, seriously, this is beyond annoying. They want to blame her for the loss of the election and smear her so that she won't run for President in the future (not saying I want her too, but that's what it is). Its just like they tried to bring down McCain in the primaries. Honestly, how would someone dumb enough to not know Africa was a continent be elected a governor? Its a lot of b.s. and rumors in my opinion, the same as Obama not being a U.S. citizen. You can't believe everything you hear on TV, that's like going back to a high school rumor mill. I say leave her alone.

I don't give a crap about this woman anymore - she can crawl back under the rock from whence she came. (OOOH I SAID "WHENCE"!!! That means I'm an exclusive, elitist, liberal seething with hatred for anyone who doesn't think like me) "And when you talk about "US", you are referring to very progressive, liberal women who have a seething hatred toward her no matter what she did, before the polls went down." You said it - "very progressive." Thank GOD for progressive women. Sarah Palin puts us all back at least 100 years. We'd regress under her.

i think it's going to come out now! there's talk of her becoming the Alaskan senator, right? so if something happens with that the dirt will be relevant. and i do not mind hearing about it! mostly due to her ideas about dinosaurs, she pretty much drives me crazy.
