Exxon Leaks Again, This Time Just a Memo (Not 11 million Gallons of Oil): Last week, the Supreme Court ruled in a 5-3 decision to decrease the punitive damages ExxonMobil will have to pay for the Exxon Valdez oil spill in 1989. The penalty is now less than what Exxon earns in a day. While this is bad news for Prince William Sound and those who lost their livelihoods and communities in the spill, it's fabulous news for those of us who enjoy dumping crude oil into pristine waters. 23/6 obtained this hilarious document. You have to see to unbelieve.

No, sadly, my icon is not me. It's actually the same model I had before, just a different picture of her.

Sadly, I did not write this. I wrote only the sarcastic comment above. But thank you for your support. Is your icon you?

This is obviously supposed to be a joke. They don't even act like it's a leak. They say Exxon released it. Rac, did you write this? It has a lot of your style of sarcasm. (That's not meant as an insult, I swear!)

It's indeed tongue decidedly and firmly in cheek, and written by humorists. ;)

The memo looks so tongue in cheek. I have a difficult time believing anyone, let alone an "oil executive" would call the Supreme Court Justices beautiful. The last paragraphs talking about how some birds like oil? This has to have been written by an environmentalist.

Why in the world would you automatically believe this is true?

You know, as an Exxon executive, I am glad to see The Man is finally giving us a break!
