Fake Michelle Obama Interview Fascinates Blogosphere The article, from an organization calling itself "African Press International," claims to have gotten a phone call from an irate Michelle Obama, in which she railed at the outlet for "spread[ing] rumors created by American bloggers and other racist media outlets in their efforts to damage a black man's name," and "evil people who are out to stop her husband from getting the presidency."

I'm white and I found it to be a racist comment.

There is also the "Big Momma" effect as well it seems like a lot not all of the really big black comedic stars and some not so big have at one point or another dress up like a fat black women which on some level is degrading and send me back to thoughts of Minstrel shows. Martin Lawerence - Big Momma's House Eddie Murphy - Female members of "The Clumps" Tyler Perry - Madea in his movies Jamie Foxx -Wanda from Living Color

"Why do black people consider it an insult to be called black?" And how many times have you heard any one use the term "mad white women"???? I prefer the term Black to African American actually I would prefer to be called by my name so AndButOr it would depend on the person. Secondly I think that it's a stereotype of " mad black women" that is perpetuated by media outlets I call it the "Omarosa Effect" every time I watch a reality show the Black Women is always "over the top", "angry" etc it seems as if it's purposefully cast that way. I will not let the Black Media off the hook for the continuous productions of mainstream movies that sometimes place black women in this same charachtures.

b/c we all know how the term was here was not just to say she was a mad woman or to point out her ethnicity as a mad black woman. The term was to incite Michelle being militant – a term that has been used with both her Barack as being like the Black Panther Party, especially the movement in the 70s. So, let’s not pretend this is an apple and oranges argument when I am sure everyone knows what this inflamed headline was meant to show.
