Click to Read

No Federal Charges Against Spitzer No federal charges will be filed against former Gov. Eliot Spitzer of New York, who resigned in March in a scandal over his role in a prostitution ring. Federal prosecutors had been investigating whether Mr. Spitzer committed a crime known as structuring, or making payments in such a way as to conceal their purpose and source, by wiring money into a bank account controlled by the prostitution ring.

steph- I think it will be. This guy had the hugest ego, and somehow I think having to resign, and having been so publicly humiliated really is a fitting punishment. That is, if he can actually accept the reality of his epic fail, who knows how delusional he is. I had a lot of hope for Spitzer, and he let down so many people.

Six years as a prosecutor either teaches you to cover your tracks well or to learn where everyone else's bodies are buried, in case you ever need to trade favors. I hope being forever known as THAT Eliot Spitzer is punishment enough for being such a jerk.
