I don't know janneth. But if president Sarkozy managed to find money to bail out banks, i am sure he can manage to find it again to pay public workers.

But where will France get the Euros to pay for all these public workers?

Man France knows how to throw a protest baby, lol. The armor recall is just another illustration of a country who depends on it's millitary for so much yet falls short in supporting what we ask of these men & women. We need to do a hell of a lot better. It is just so strange to me to have a country that is so pro-military pro-patriotic yet we don't put our money where our mouth is when it comes to their support. It's disgrassfull in my opinion. I would like to be a fly on the wall when Gov. Palin meets with President Obama. She'll probably say with a smile & a click, your days are numbered baby, lol. Apparently Ford has another line of credit yet still available to them so that is one reason why they pass on the Tinny Tim bit this time around.

They have done many reports on it in the news. It is stronger, but yet the military gave it a failing grade and noone knows why.

what makes pinnacle better hainan?

If the Army were using Pinnacle body armor, the troops needn't worry. But government has their hands dirty with current armor manufacturers.

I would like to point out that the article isn't saying the body armor is necessarily bad, just that the quality control test to evaluate the effectiveness wasn't properly carried out. The armor is probably ok, but rather than find out that it wasn't, it's being recalled for further testing.

"A Defense official told the Times that while there have been no reports of defective armor or of deaths or injuries of military personnel wearing it, the body plates are being recalled so soldiers won't worry that their equipment is unsafe." So why did they recall it exactly, if it was armor produced between 2005 and 2007 and no defects reported.

"16,000 units of body armor recalled? Glad to know it's only the best for our troops." Hear, hear!

Those who didn't test the body armour properly should get fired, these men and women can't afford a mistake like that.

16,000 units of body armor recalled? Glad to know it's only the best for our troops. - Reading that unemployment article, it seems like the author is surprised there is a rise in unemployment benefits. Cause and effect people... cause and effect.

If I were from Alaska I would be very happy that Gov. Palin formed the PAC to fund her political ambitions and isn't using taxpayer money for her extracurriculars.
