Junebrug, like many writers, wants to be known for her words and not for her image. So it's fitting that this week she shares her ideas, but not her picture. Her comments on Giggle are observant and sharp, and we're glad she joins in on the fun!
GS: What is your motto?
Junebrug: There are too many of them to list, but I’ll go with: Fortune Favors the Bold.
GS: Where are you from?
Junebrug: Ohio originally, now a resident of Los Angeles.
GS: What do you do?
Junebrug: I’m a writer.
GS: How would you describe your sense of humor?
Junebrug: Mostly sarcastic, sometimes so dry people don’t if I’m kidding or not. And occasionally just plain goofy.
Junebrug: What’s your favorite GiggleSugar Post?
GS: Anything with puppies is always good with me. I like the Eligible Bachelor Du Jour posts too, they remind me why I’m single.
GS: Who is the cutest funny man and funny woman?
Junebrug: Amy Poehler is pretty hot these days….men? Eh, does he have to be funny? Can’t I be funny enough for both myself and George Clooney?
GS: Who are your favorite male and female comedians?
Junebrug: I love John Pinette, and Janeane Garafalo has been cracking me up for a decade.
GS: What’s your favorite comedy of all time?
Junebrug: The movie Some Like It Hot.
GS: If your life were a comedy, what would it be?
Junebrug: A dramedy definitively. I think most people can relate to "Curb Your Enthusiasm." Everything that can go wrong, generally does. The only comedy I can completely relate to is one that I wrote. No you haven’t seen the film yet. You will (fingers crossed, cross your fingers for me, dear reader).
GS: Do you look like someone famous?
Junebrug: Oh my. There was a time people were so convinced I was Anna Nicole Smith, they asked for autographs. Grr. I get Kirstie Alley a lot too. Grr. It doesn’t occur to anyone that being compared to women who are older (and one who had questionable sanity) than I am would be annoying. Grr.
Junebrug Free-for-all: I am a writer and I have a pet lovebird named Madeleine who restores my sense of humor when I’ve lost it. And if I don’t get it back fast, she just bites me, and the biting continues until morale improves.
