Gore: No Cabinet Position For Me Bloomberg has reported that Al Gore isn't looking for an official seat in the White House, no matter who wins in November: "I won't accept a cabinet post regardless of which of the three candidates wins the presidency," Gore said yesterday. "I am looking for a way to bring about change in other ways," the former vice president and former Democratic presidential candidate said.

It can be a lot of speculation: Hilary and BO also said they weren't running for president in 08 and look what they are doing. It's been speculation on Condi and she said she will return to teaching. I believe they will do what they want and I believe if Al has his agenda for the green movement and if he sees a way to get it out there -he will take a position to further his agenda. I think it is too early to determine what anyone will do.

It's a good $.02 Bella. People have been speculating about him stepping in to the race, or being a candidate's ace endorsement for months - the same way they've been pushing Biden as Secretary of State.

While nobody asked him, there's been a lot of (public) speculation about it among political junkies. I think it's OK for him to say "it ain't gonna happen," because you know how people like to get worked up about what could happen. This way, he saves a lot of speculation and shifts the focus away from him and back to the race. Just my $.02.

AlGore is a sore loser, anyway. And his inconvenient truth is turning into an inconvenient LIE. As I said . . . everything has a beginning and an end. No one can predict the end of the universe as we know it, but our solar system is just like those we watch with the Hubble Telescope. One day our solar system will end. And no one, not even an AlGore, has the capacity to stop the death of our solar system. The inconvenient truth is that no matter what humans do to try to stop the future, it cannot be done. I firmly believe in Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. But the BILLIONS of other earth inhabitants on all the other Continents do not share this belief. And there is no way to force or even pressure other Nations to work toward slowing down the death of our solar system. It just cannot be done. All you can do is all YOU can do. So, just do what you can and live your own life and work towards making the earth as we know it a better place to live. And remember, in the end, other humans are more important than other plants and animals, no matter what PETA says. Humans outrank every other commodity on Earth. Even if some Nations treat their humans as camel-dung or untouchables. Remember Blessed Mother Teresa: In this life we cannot do great things. We can only do small things with great love. And, Peace begins with a smile.
