Regarding the real men - flowers article, my husband has bought me flowers continously since we started dating 5 years ago. I always have a fresh bouquet of flowers in my house and when they start to die and fade, he buys me a new bouquet. I love it - it's his own way of showing that he will cherish me for life. I used to get upset at the thought of all the money spent on the flowers, but it means so much to him to have me by his side and to be able to express his love that I just learned to accept the money spent. Sometimes it's just 5 large sunflowers and other times it's a two dozen roses. I never know what I'm going to get. He's gotten to know the local florist and they always give him whatever is new and fresh when he stops by to drop off a vase. I love that he is such a romantic. (He still opens all my doors for me - and any other lady that is around).
