Justin Timberlake Still Has Feelings For Jessica Biel

Do You Have Positive Feelings For Your Exes?

From Jessica Biel to Britney Spears and Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake has an A-list lineup of exes. And according to his interview in the latest issue of Vanity Fair, he has maintained different relationships with all three postbreakup. Of fellow Mouseketeer Britney, JT says he hasn't spoken with her in almost a decade, although he wishes her the best. As for Cameron, they seem to maintain a friendly relationship, considering they're starring in the new movie Bad Teacher together. And when it comes to his freshest ex, Justin's words on Jessica conveyed some strong residual feelings. He said, "She is the single-handedly most significant person in my life. In my 30 years, she is the most special person, OK? . . . I don't want to say much more, because I have to protect things that are dear to me — for instance, her."

So many times when a long-term relationship ends, it's considered a failure. But we learn so much about ourselves and have defining experiences with our former partners that perhaps more of us should look back at past relationships with a positive attitude. It's clear Justin does. Do you have an ex you consider to be one of the most significant people in your life?

Why are the responses usually extreme? Yes "I consider them among the most important people in my life." How about just a Yes, the 2nd part doesn't fit most people who would response with yes. My ex is not in my life anymore, but I do think positively about him (most of the time).

If you're not friends while dating, your relationship is doomed. If you are friends while dating, just because the romantic feelings end doesn't mean the friendship ends with them. Both my boyfriend and I are good friends with our exes. If you loved them and cared about them, why give them up? Sometimes people just make better friends.

While, I've never been in many "Serious" relationships except the guy I'm with now, I consider my exes wonderful and important people, one is one of my best friends. I would think that if my guy of two years and I broke up, that we built so much friendship and love already that we would still be able to be friends. I mean except for cheating or other horrible reasons to break up, you only really marry ONE person (okay in this day and age a couple ;) in life so exes are just a natural part and should be still important for whatever they gave you and taught you.

Agreed. Exes (or anyone who has played a significant role in one's life) make a person who they are. Sure, some of my exes were horrible, but there are others that I can confidently say that I still love in a platonic way and support them 110%: I just couldn't have a romantic relationship with them for the rest of my life. I am actually best friends with my SO's ex and one of his best friends is her fiance. It's funny the way these things work out.

Not actually the most important people in my life, but I'm glad I knew them and feel the time with them was well spent.
