Levi Johnston has probably made more money trashing Sarah Palin over the last year than in all his time on the Alaska oil fields. He insinuated the Palins' youngest child was Bristol's in Vanity Fair; flat-out told the New York Daily News Palin resigned from her job as Alaska's governor to take advantage of her newfound celebrity; and said all sorts of scandalous things on Oprah and Tyra Banks, and in GQ and Playgirl. And now he's saying sorry.
He offered up a public apology, declaring all previous thrashings null and void, in People today.
"Last year, after Bristol and I broke up, I was unhappy and a little angry. Unfortunately, against my better judgment, I publicly said things about the Palins that were not completely true. I have already privately apologized to Todd and Sarah. Since my statements were public, I owe it to the Palins to publicly apologize."
Sweet? Sincere? Written by his agent?
