Lindsay Lohan Vanity Fair Interview

Well Said: Lindsay Lohan on Her Youthful Indiscretions

"I think just the second I didn’t have [structure] anymore — I was 18, 19 — with a ton of money and no one really here to tell me that I couldn’t do certain things. . . . And I see where that’s gotten me now, and I don’t like it."

— Whatever you think about the forthrightness of Lindsay Lohan's Vanity Fair interview, she does demonstrate a self-awareness that has not always been apparent in past interviews. Now that she's out of rehab, I actually feel like she might do something worth watching in a nonscandalous way.

HA! @SKG. I'm tired of her - and her enablers (her mother!) talking about her like she's a child. She's 24 years old - it's time to start taking personal responsibility.

I have seen her happier, but as the first comment said, it is too son to tell. She has been to rehab before, but hopefully jail was a wake-up call.

I guess she's showing SOME progress by not putting the blame on others this time 'round...

Magazines aren’t thrown together overnight and Lindsay just got out of rehab (early) – it’s way too soon too pat her on the back for anything we read that’s attributed to her.
