Maggie Gyllenhaal Explores Female Orgasms on Discovery

On the Discovery channel's Curiosity show last night, host Maggie Gyllenhaal poses the question, "Why is sex fun?" One of the ways the actress explores the pleasures of sex is by talking with scientists about the mysterious female orgasm. In this clip from the show, she narrates a group of scientists tracking the brain activity of a female volunteer who's inside an MRI machine "about to give herself orgasm, in the name of science." Not shy about sexuality, Maggie is well-known for her role in the sadomasochist film Secretary and will be starring in the upcoming movie Hysteria about the invention of the vibrator. The real entertaining part of the video is the straight-faced scientists watching a woman pleasure herself, saying things like "should be coming around to blastoff." Watch the snippet now!
