When your vision is clouded by love, it's hard to tell the difference between what's right and wrong. Wu Hsia, 21, broke up with long-term girlfriend Jun Tang, 20, but found true love again soon after when he met Rong Tsao, 22. Unfortunately for, well, all parties involved, Jun Tang was not going to go down without a fight. For several months, she begged her ex to get back with her, and even pressured Rong to leave him so that she could have him for herself.

Wu — undoubtedly tiring of the tangled love triangle — decided to arrange a meeting between the three [1]. "I was sick of being nagged from both sides," he said. "Rong was moaning about Jun and Jun was moaning about her and it all go too much. I became confused about who I wanted so I thought it would be best if we all met and talked about it." And it was at a park by the river in Ningbo city in East China's Zhejiang province where they met where, unsurprisingly, things escalated quickly. The two women decided to test Wu's love by doing the only logical thing that one does when standing by a rushing river: jump in.

Jun leapt off the bridge first and Rong quickly followed, telling Wu that it was her or his ex — he had to choose. They both started yelling for help, so Wu jumped in after the two, but he says it was with the intention of saving his current girlfriend, Rong. He dragged her out of the water, and firemen came and saved Jun. Both girls were OK, Jun being treated for minor, non-life-threatening injuries.

One news outlet aptly summed up the entire affair [2] by noting that Wu was "put in a difficult situation and had to make a choice between right and wrong. . . . And he chose Rong."
