I Stayed in The Bachelor Fantasy Suite, and This Is What Happened

My Eyes Are Bloated

Dear Sugar
Whenever I cry, my eyes puff up. They stay swollen for at least 24 hours - it's not pretty. I've tried cold water, ice, eye masks and Preparation H (a fave amongst models) but none of this has worked. Do you have any suggestions how I can get the puffiness to go away? Puff Patsy

Dear Puff Patsy
Avoid foods that are high in sodium for 24 hours. Also, try this little trick. Freeze metal spoons and put them on your eyes for 1 minute. You can try tea bags too. They are supposed to absorb the swelling. Leave one on each eye for about a half hour, as often as you can. Cool cucumbers are used for soothing once the tea bags are removed. Even using cotton balls soaked in cold water or astringent may help. I wrote a passage about puffiness titled, "Smoggy Eyes." You can refer back to that for more suggestions.
