Huffington Post just added a new thing to their book page and it asks two good questions: one, could the story of an iconic car really be that interesting????? and two, from the Woodstock photo: "The result was a campaign that has been named the best of the 20th century, one that had university kids cutting out Beetle ads and pasting them to their walls. One has to wonder: What ad could do that for the university students of today?" the Woodstock photo with the Beetle is SWEET http://www.huffingtonpost.com/andrea-hiott/volkswagen-beetle-history_b_1199340.html#s604620&title=Thanks_to_NYCs

The Last Nude, the novel about Parisian artists in the 1920s sounds really promising! I love historical novels, especially about little niches in society that I haven't read about before. I'd add another book to this gallery: 'Israela' by Batya Casper (http://www.israelathebook.com). It's a novel about a family of sisters in Israel that sounds really good. I'm very interested in the religious tension in that area of the world, but even if I weren't, I still think I'd read it. It's definitely a January 'must read' for me!
