So It Turns Out This Wedding Proposal Wasn't the D*ck Move We Thought It Was

Jun 8 2015 - 2:30pm

Last month, this photo [1] was trending on Reddit, and it got us wondering. Is proposing during someone else's wedding totally uncalled for? After all, the day is supposed to be all about the newlyweds, not the guests who were invited. Honestly, we thought this guy's big proposal was a totally lame move . . . until we heard the real story behind the photo.

It turns out that it was the bride's idea for the proposal [2] to happen at the wedding. Yup, the bride (who is also the woman's sister) wanted the whole situation to go down, and the groom even held on to the ring up until the big moment happened. Just goes to show that no one should ever jump to conclusions.

Has your opinion about the proposal changed since we originally posted the poll? Let us know your opinion below.
