Richard Jeni, RIP

It's a sad day in the world of comedy. The hilarious and charming Richard Jeni was found dead over the weekend from what might have been a self-inflicted gunshot wound. This popular comedian made more appearances on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno than any other comedian and created brilliant stand-up around situations we've all been in. Take this following routine, called "PMS and Red Wine." In it, Jeni dramatizes what it feels like to be a man on a date with a woman who, through the "witch's brew" of PMS and red wine, is out for, uh, blood. His blood. There's a bumper sticker I saw once that said, "Men have feelings, too--but who really cares?" Richard Jeni's routines like this one reminded us women what it might feel like on the other end of our tirades. We'll miss you, Richard.
