Chris and Maureen knew they wanted their wedding to have a wild, organic, and natural feel. Once they saw the Rancho Buena Vista Adobe in Vista, CA, they knew it was the perfect venue for their rustic wedding, but planning for their big day was no easy feat. Not only did the couple live in different states, but they had just short of six months from engagement to ceremony! Maureen didn't waste any time recruiting family and friends to help make sure both her and Chris's personalities were incorporated in the wedding.

As the planning went underway, Maureen took to her history degree and found beautiful antique globes, vintage maps, and retro fabrics to decorate their picturesque venue. Their hard work ultimately created a relaxed and unmannered feel that was also elegantly historic and beautiful. It was the little details like the cafe lights strung across the lawn, the popcorn and stamped to-go bags, the fan programs, Chris's wing-tipped shoes, and the ice cream sandwiches that pulled everything together. Ultimately, the wedding was exactly what they wanted because of the help of their family and friends.
