That's true! LensCrafters better get on the ball and start hiring masses of people to supply the demand for those specs.

Only if I had $300 for a pair of those glasses. Hot. I think the wig would look a lil too fake.
amybdk amybdk 8 years
Wow! Now THAT'S news to get excited about, bellaressa!

Off the subject: I was watching the news this morning and --has been having a booming need for wigs that resemble SP. Can you believe they even added more people to their manufacturing line to have them produced. Wigs going for $135.00. Now the glasses are the next hottest thing.

To see the sexist/gender card issue, check out this Jon Stewart clip. He shows actual interviews, so there's no disputing it with Morris (among others) saying that about HRC. ender-card

...forgot to add that the guy also said that Biden will have to "be careful" because of the "gender difference". What do people think Biden will do? Talk about her having PMS?

"so funny when you think back to less than 4 months ago when every republican pundit was saying stuff like "well if you can't play with the big boys then we can't help you" and claiming that she was playing the "victim" card. i don't remember hillary ever whining and crying foul play. she took it like a man (for lack of a better term)." Yeah, I agree with you there, yy. What's funny is that I heard something about the Biden/Palin debates, and how (this was said by some political analyst on my local news) things will be different because of the "gender difference". Um, ok? Makes me wonder if that would EVER be said about Hillary, and she was going for the presidential nomination!

Thank you liliblu! Too bad he didn't get as much attention as Sarah Palin has been getting.

Yes Woop, I agree. But in this case she is someone men would like to date (and I know not all men) and moms would like to have at a playdate. She is a regular Jane, so to speak. Except Im not buying it. But I wasn't who they were after anyway. My minds been made up for a while.

no, caterpillargirl. when hillary was called b*tchy it was actually REAL sexism at work, attacking her for being knowledgeable, confident, outspoken and forthright - qualities usually associated with men. she actually knew what she was talking about!! when palin comes across as b*tchy its because she's being defensive. oh, and speaking of being defensive... did you know that the mccain campaign is actually putting out a new ad today that points out all of the sexist things the liberal, democratic controlled media and supposedly obama supporters have said about palin? so funny when you think back to less than 4 months ago when every republican pundit was saying stuff like "well if you can't play with the big boys then we can't help you" and claiming that she was playing the "victim" card. i don't remember hillary ever whining and crying foul play. she took it like a man (for lack of a better term).

i think i feel a new colloquialism coming on! how about this one: a clueless, small-minded poster child for the right-wing, pro-gun, christian agenda who can't even hold her own in a soft-ball interview and won't know what hit her in a debate... in lipstick!

She must have been watching hillary and picked up some pointers on the b itchy thing.

I am not confident in her speaking with foreign heads of state.. when taken off guard she tends to sound aggressive, sarcastic and bitchy.. (which strengthen the rumored image of her with the police chief who she claimed intimidated her with a "look" while he claimed he had to always treat her with kid gloves and calm soft voice so not to spook her) that combined with what a moody bastard McCain is..they will be shooting up the walls of the white house like Elvis with his Tv's. LOL! I would seriously appreciated her answering the Bush Doctrine with.. I'm not sure I am familiar with what you are referring to Charlie can you clarify? That would have been refreshing... in fact it would have been refreshing if she had answered any of the questions with an answer that properly matched the question. And the televised version was WAY kinder to her than the clips we saw on the internet before hand..they actually softened the blow of her answers and attitude. Nice of ABC to cushion it for her a little.

Roarman, I believe the purpose of picking Palin was to create the same attraction that got Bush elected twice - she's just like "regular folk." She's for the people who want a leader they can have beer & wings with while they make fun of the "elitists" for caring about things like the bush doctrine, not starting a war with Russia, and community organizing.

I believe she said VPs, as in elected VPs...but I'm sure she'll change it around to suit her needs when questioned about it.

I really hate to find myself defending Sarah Palin, but was her comment about VPs meeting with foreign leaders trying to say most actual VPs haven't or most candidates haven't?
girlA girlA 8 years
pig icon, I mean. Whoo...too early this a.m.
girlA girlA 8 years
Just learned how to use to the pick icon-had to use it. Where was this when we were discussing the pig and lipstick comment?!
girlA girlA 8 years
Absolutely. And her comment about other VPs in history was apparently a bunch of BS because I think someone posted last night that there was a fact check by ABC and gee...guess what? She was wrong. :@)
