Democrats or Republicans: Who Watches These Shows?

I don't think it's a mean thing to say at all. spacekat's comment was not a personal attack, just a personal opinion on TV shows. People get offended too easily.

I think modern family is watched by republicans because even though it features both interracial and gay couples it does portray a family that is both mainly white and financially comfortable middle class.

just because the description mentions democrats and critically acclaimed, doesn't mean this applies to all shoes. I'm guessing kourtney and khloe is more the result of mostly young people, and thus more liberal people, watching. (I'm not saying all young people are dems though!) also, yeah. modern family? What??

I'm surprised too about Modern Family - what with a gay couple and interracial marriage. Who knew?

I only missed Khloe and Kourtney. Otherwise, these don't surprise me!

Really, Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami is more critically acclaimed than Modern Family? Who knew! I think it's more a case of younger people being more likely to be Democrats and of those same younger people being drawn to certain shows. I bet if you looked at this based on age (i.e. comparing Democrats 20-25 to Republicans 20-25) the differences in viewing preferences would all but disappear.
