Time to cut bait?

Dear Sugar
I've been living with my boyfriend for 3 years. We've talked about marriage on several occasions yet he keeps telling me that he's not ready. I am 30 years old and I don't want to be in a relationship if it's not going anywhere. How do I know when it's time to cut bait. --Desperado

Dear Desperado
Everyone has a personal threshold and you know yours. Consider your age. In your 20's what's 3 years? But in your 30's you have to think about your future and if you want children. You can't wait for someone else to determine your destiny. I firmly believe that after 3 years, if a man says he isn't ready for marriage, it means that he's just not ready to marry you.
