Tristan and Patrick's Wedding Will Convince You to Nix Tradition
If you're at all afraid to stray from traditions and formalities on your big day . . . don't be. Tristan and Patrick's wedding is an undeniable testament that going off the beaten path can be the best possible way of ensuring that your wedding day truly is, well, yours. For these newlyweds, this meant having their grandparents serve as the ring bearer and flower girl (and not informing them of their duties until the day of). It also meant an improv comedy show during their wedding reception, an Elvis impersonator, and impromptu bridesmaids and groomsmen (who were also surprised with their duties on the day of the wedding).
For us, it only took one scroll through their photos to realize that all of these personal, quirky touches are what really made the wedding spectacular for not only the bride and groom, but all of their family and friends who were able to take part in the event. Of course, there were also a lot of sentimental and classic touches to their wedding, as well. Our particular favorite moment was the gorgeous floating lantern ceremony that capped off the night. And if you're still not convinced, take a look at their wedding photos yourself! (You won't be disappointed, we promise.)
