I have a friend — let's call her Mary — who was once walking down the street in New York, thinking that she looked pretty cute. Soon, her reverie was interrupted by a boisterous stranger, who shouted as she walked by, "Now that's the razzmatazz I'm talking about!"
Though it was an unusual compliment, it still made her day, and she walked a bit sassier because of it. In rare cases, a compliment from a stranger can be creepy, but when done right, a passing positive comment can make your day and make you smile. For that reason, I love to pay compliments to people when I feel so moved, though there is definitely a right and a wrong way to do it. So what's the best compliment you've ever received from a stranger?
