Would You See Will Ferrell As Bush on Broadway?

Back in 2004 the unmarried Condoleezza Rice started a story by saying: "As I was telling my husb . . . " She continued: "As I was telling President Bush." The PG-rated slip of the tongue has inspired a PG-13 scene in Will Ferrell's Broadway show: You're Welcome America. A Final Night With George W. Bush. In the scene, Condi Rice (played by Pia Glenn) strips down to her red underwear to perform a lap dance for President Bush. Judging by audience reactions, this scene could steal the show.

Considering you can't get a ticket for much less than $200, would you pay top dollar to laugh at Bush and Condi? If Will Ferrell's Bush impersonation isn't your thing, maybe Tina Fey will bring her Sarah Palin impersonation to Broadway next!

Saw it and loved it (and didn't pay 200- paid 70). I think there are some Bush-fans who would have even chuckled a bit at some of his jokes. "I like making up nick names for people. I'm really good at it. Like, you whats your name? What do you do? You're a trader? Im gonna call*t outta luck. or better yet, it's 'that one's' problem now" haaaaa.

I'd pay to see it if I was anywhere near Broadway.

First off, I live in NY and am considering going to see this and tickets don't start at $200. There are some tickets for around $60. Being that it is Broadway and NYC, of course there are very expensive seats, but theaters always have cheaper priced tickets for higher up seats. With that said, I love Will Ferrell and will probably go see this, or else wait for it to come on HBO. I read that it is supposed to air on March 14, the night before it goes off Broadway (March 15).

I love Will and all but not for $200. I would see it for about $50. :)

:ahem: ex. Will it really be on HBO? If so then I'll just watch it on there.

That's disgusting and degrading at any level, much less an impersonation of our president. $200? Please.

I would see this but I am not in NYC and don't have 200 bucks for the ticket! Plus, I htink I would rather see a broadway show there... just saying.

I love Will but I don't think I can sit there and watch him impersonate Bush for more than half an hour! I'd rather see The Little Mermaid!

I'll just wait for the inevitable DVD. I love Will Ferrell and his Bush impersonation, but I don't love it $200 + airfare to New York City!
